Beyond Earthly Desires

Living without my twin soul in physical life...

There is a love that transcends far beyond earthly desires -- a love so profound and beautiful that nothing can break the bond. This is the kind of love shared between twin souls.

The belief that twin souls exist is not just a theory or interesting concept -- for many it is a valid truth, a reality. The likelihood that there really are twin souls may never be proven for the truth exists only in the spirit realm and in the hearts of those who know they have a twin soul. This is not a new belief born out of the fancy of wishful thinking.

Two-thousand, five-hundred years ago, Plato wrote:

"And when one of them meets with his other half, the actual half of himself, the pair are lost in an amazement of love and friendship and intimacy and one will not be out of the others sight even for a moment."

There is a plethora of information written about twin souls, or twin flames. Some of the explanations and stories are very simple and some are so complex that to grasp the concept would take a whole semester of study.

Where are you now, my other self? Are you awake in
The silence of the night? Let the clean breeze convey
To you my heart's every beat and affection.

From A Lover's Call, by Kahlil Gibran (1883 - 1931)

For over thirty years I wondered where my twin soul lived, or if he lived in this life. I found him not long ago and the love I feel for him is profound. We are not physically together in this life, for we have had karmic relations to work out and to learn from. Together in the spirit world we love with a closeness that is almost indescribable. The tears that flow, the love that grows stronger, the bond we have, is more vivid and dear with each dream we share.

I remember when you kissed me and kissed me,
With tears coursing your cheeks, and you said,
"Earthly bodies must often separate for earthly purpose,
And must live apart impelled by worldly intent.

From A Lover's Call, by Kahlil Gibran (1883 - 1931)

Sometimes we cry in our dreams for the need and desire to be together in physical life. The comfort for each other is so deeply given and received that it carries us through the physical realm of our lives.

But the spirit remains joined safely in the hands of
Love, until death arrives and takes joined souls to God.

From A Lover's Call, by Kahlil Gibran (1883 - 1931)

It is in the spirit that we are joined, and in the spirit we have promised to reunite when the time is right. With my twin soul I will walk beside him, spiritually or physically, to the end of time and beyond and wherever we felt the need to be.

Nothing will ever break this beautiful and eternal bond. We will always be there for each other at the calling of our spirit.
