Christmas Without Mama

This Christmas season is very difficult for my family members and I. Our beloved Mother and Grandmother passed away on November 29. Her physical presence will be greatly missed.

A fool in love

From one of my favorite poets, terrific friend, and fellow Hubber. Words from his soul drip off his quill with so much passion.

Sometimes, ya just gotta tweak Destiny.

Home

You have led me to the home
I have searched for, which is within me

You have warmed my heart and soul
With incredible love and compassion

You have touched and softened
The deepest part of my being

You are my teacher my guide, my friend
My life, my love

I have found my home
In you and me

More Than Friend

It seems to me he is
more than friend
He is confrere of secrets
and dreams without end

He hears the joy of laughter
The hurt of sorrow
The pain of loss
The hope of tomorrow

He senses a night cry
From a distance afar
And sends comfort which lingers
Like a morning star

His caring thoughts
Shared wisdom and tears
Bring strength and love
Through enduring years

Yes, he is more
Than friend
He is my light
At journey's end

Brother Webb

He was called Will by many, but to me will always be 'Brother Webb'.

He was a loving husband, father, brother and son who was and is loved dearly. Webb was an independant -- a kindred spirit of the cowboy, the hobo, the Jonny Cash, Hank Williams, and Woody Guthrie type men of the world. He sang and played his old guitar as good as the best.

He had great compassion for adventure and loved to take the unconventional way of achieving a task or reaching a goal. He was a 'free spirit' who sang his own song, made his own path, followed his heart, and marched to his own drum.

He was passionate about life and family. One never had to wonder if he loved you. If he said he loved you, he did, with his whole heart -- it is as simple as that.

Webb was a truck driver and traveled this whole country. At times he would be gone a long time, but he always found his way home -- and I know that from here, too, he found his way home to rest in the arms of our Heavenly Father.

                                                          God bless you, Brother Webb.

Beyond Earthly Desires

Living without my twin soul in physical life...

There is a love that transcends far beyond earthly desires -- a love so profound and beautiful that nothing can break the bond. This is the kind of love shared between twin souls.

The belief that twin souls exist is not just a theory or interesting concept -- for many it is a valid truth, a reality. The likelihood that there really are twin souls may never be proven for the truth exists only in the spirit realm and in the hearts of those who know they have a twin soul. This is not a new belief born out of the fancy of wishful thinking.

Two-thousand, five-hundred years ago, Plato wrote:

"And when one of them meets with his other half, the actual half of himself, the pair are lost in an amazement of love and friendship and intimacy and one will not be out of the others sight even for a moment."

There is a plethora of information written about twin souls, or twin flames. Some of the explanations and stories are very simple and some are so complex that to grasp the concept would take a whole semester of study.

Where are you now, my other self? Are you awake in
The silence of the night? Let the clean breeze convey
To you my heart's every beat and affection.

From A Lover's Call, by Kahlil Gibran (1883 - 1931)

For over thirty years I wondered where my twin soul lived, or if he lived in this life. I found him not long ago and the love I feel for him is profound. We are not physically together in this life, for we have had karmic relations to work out and to learn from. Together in the spirit world we love with a closeness that is almost indescribable. The tears that flow, the love that grows stronger, the bond we have, is more vivid and dear with each dream we share.

I remember when you kissed me and kissed me,
With tears coursing your cheeks, and you said,
"Earthly bodies must often separate for earthly purpose,
And must live apart impelled by worldly intent.

From A Lover's Call, by Kahlil Gibran (1883 - 1931)

Sometimes we cry in our dreams for the need and desire to be together in physical life. The comfort for each other is so deeply given and received that it carries us through the physical realm of our lives.

But the spirit remains joined safely in the hands of
Love, until death arrives and takes joined souls to God.

From A Lover's Call, by Kahlil Gibran (1883 - 1931)

It is in the spirit that we are joined, and in the spirit we have promised to reunite when the time is right. With my twin soul I will walk beside him, spiritually or physically, to the end of time and beyond and wherever we felt the need to be.

Nothing will ever break this beautiful and eternal bond. We will always be there for each other at the calling of our spirit.

Living and Loving in the Wind

I walk this life without him physically by my side
Yet in spirit we are always as one.

We have on many journeys touched the deepest
Part of the heart and spiritually grown.

He is my eternal love, my teacher, my friend, my king
He leaves my soul wanting for nothing.

From the deepest canyon floors to the highest peak
He offers his hand for courage and hope.
Of this deep eternal love we do not speak
For the separate lives we live do not meld.

Yet I have the joyous memories of being held
So close to him I felt his heart beat.

No music did I hear till I found him once more
Somewhere on my journey worth every mile.

He gave me courage to fly like Eagle soars
To let Spirit guide me and follow my heart.

Even without him physically here by my side
I feel not alone for we will never spiritually part .

Through many journeys we have built
a strong and profound spiritual relationship
That can never be broken.

We have chosen in this life
separate paths to learn
what we must.

Is he yet aware of this spiritual oneness,
from deepest canyon floors
To the highest peak?

I do not know that life's answer
For of this eternal love we do not speak.
